Shots From The Road

We’ve been lucking out with the weather here in Michigan lately so I’ve been trying to get as much time in on the bike as I can in an attempt to shed excess blubber. The dirt roads are riddled with rim busting pot holes, standing water, and deep rutted mud; so I’ve made do with paved roads. Not my first choice, but better than nothing.

The paved roads here are mostly pretty crap, and of course have cars whizzing at well over the posted speed limit, but it’s still pretty good riding compared to some paved roads I’ve been forced to ride in my life (Forbes Avenue in Pittsburgh). Aside from the cars, and the threat of being smashed down by a speeding pickup truck, I shy away from riding paved roads because it can be harder to safely compose and capture a photo. Safe or not, I still do it. Here’s a bit of what I got from my rides over the past week.

Thanks for looking.
